Located between Piazza Antinori, at the beginning of the famous and elegant Via Tornabuoni, and the small Via delle Belle Donne, the Hotel De la Ville is the result of the union of two buildings in the historic center of Florence, one of which was built around 1460 with important graffiti on the facade, still visible today, created by Andrea di Cosimo Feltrini in 1579.
Following the Second World War, part of the building was rebuilt due to the damage caused by bombing, following the rules of conservative restoration with the aim of preserving the memory of the buildings and their past.
Today, the Hotel De la Ville retains its charm and its history. The Hall, furnished with precious materials and warm colours, leaves room for the private and welcoming dining area. The wide corridors on the upper floors lead to comfortable rooms and suites, perfectly soundproofed, overlooking Piazza Antinori and Via Tornabuoni or the quiet, little streets surrounding the hotel.
A soft music welcomes hotel guests to a bright breakfast room, where the buffet of local products and the warm welcome of the staff will provide a pleasant and tasteful beginning of the day.
The ideal place for an aperitif or a snack. A relaxing and comfortable corner, an attentive service, is what is reserved for hotel guests who wish to take a break away from the crowded streets of the city centre.
